HAVN MARKETPLACE FZE LLC operates HAVN Marketplace. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices when using our website and mobile applications.

Information we collect

• Account details such as your name, email address, mobile number, city, and address.
• Optional identity verification information, including a valid national identity document or passport and a selfie you choose to submit. These files are used for private safety review and are not displayed publicly.
• Listings, descriptions, prices, photos, messages, reports, and support communications.
• Electronic acceptance records, including the Terms, Privacy Policy, and Safety Rules versions accepted, acceptance time, account, and source.
• Technical information such as device type, browser, IP address, app activity, security events, and diagnostic logs.
• Location information you provide, such as your country, region, city, or listing area. Precise background location is not required to browse HAVN.

How and why we use information

We use information to perform our contract with you, operate the marketplace, verify accounts, publish and review listings, enable buyer and seller conversations, record legal acceptance, prevent fraud and misuse, provide support, protect legal rights, improve our services, and comply with legal obligations. Listing text and pictures may be processed by automated safety and relevance systems before publication. These systems can approve a listing or identify issues that must be corrected and resubmitted. Where required, we rely on consent. We may also process information for legitimate interests such as service security, moderation, analytics, and claim management, provided those interests do not override applicable rights.

How information is shared

Information may be visible to other users when you publish a listing or join a conversation. We may share information with trusted service providers that support hosting, authentication, storage, communications, and automated content review, with authorities when legally required, or as part of a business reorganisation. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and security

We retain information as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, update, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal information, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or object to certain processing. You can permanently delete your account directly from the signed in account screen. Active listings, marketplace messages and search history are removed as part of that process. Any remaining records that are not legally required for security, fraud prevention, disputes, contracts, or other legal obligations will be deleted or anonymised within 30 days.

Children

HAVN is not intended for children under 18. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.

International processing

Service providers may process information outside the United Arab Emirates. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards.
